A Child's Place with no permanent residence, homeless children often stop going to school -- the one place that should provide structure in a life of transition. Without the influence and stability of a classroom environment, these children lose more than a chance to learn. They also lose the crucial sense of belonging gained from interacting with friends and other students.

Jonathan's Place has been taking care of children that have suffered the trauma of abuse. Jonathan's Place is an emergency shelter for abused, abandoned and neglected children, age newborn to 17 years.

The Mooresville Soup Kitchen is a non denominational, Christian organization whose mission is to provide nourishing meals, fellowship and encouragement to those in need. We have been carrying out this mission since 1987, and through the generous support of the Mooresville community, The Soup Kitchen serves more than 20,000 meals annually, regardless of race, sex, age, nationality or religion.
