What type of event is WeeBoogie?
Let's just say you will need to wear your most comfortable boogie shoes when attending one of our dance events, "prepare to boogie". You will be boogying as our Disc Jockies spin great songs from the 70's and 80's while the kids shake their maracas, thump tamboreens and move to the grove.
WeeBoogie also offers the Playgroups USA Kids Expo event that is a full day of family entertainment offering a varity of stage shows and kids activities along with unlimited resources for parents.
How can I find out a WeeBoogie event in my area?
We will announce events on our website (see our 'Events' page) and also in local parent resource magazines. You may also sign up for our newsletter so we can contact you when an event is in your area.
How long is a WeeBoogie event?
Our dance events are typically 2 to 3 hours depending on the location. You can come and go as you please. Our Kids Expos are either a 1 day or 2 day event from 10 am to 5 pm. Kids Expos offer a full day of entertainment!
Can we bring food to the event?
You can bring bottles, snacks, or any special requirements your child may need during the event. However, we will be serving refreshments and a beverage for all our wee kids and parents/caregivers.
Can I rent a stroller or wheelchair at the event?
No, you need to bring your own transportation.
Can I shop and buy stuff?
Yes, many exhibitors sell their products, and offer special discounts at the show. It's a good time to shop to get the special show discounts!
How much are the tickets?
Tickets vary per location. See your city web page for more information on the upcoming event in your area.
How do I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets on TicketLeap. TicketLeap is a secure ticketing platform that we use to sell our tickets. You can access each event by clicking the button next to the event on our event page that says "purchase tickets" and it will direct you to TicketLeap.
If you are unable to purchase tickets in advance we will have a limited amount available at the door for regurlar price and can only accept cash at the door.
What is included in the price of the ticket?
Music, entertainment, kid activities, prizes, discounts, samples, parent resources and a good time!
When do the events take place?
Mostly weekends. Some week day WeeBoogie Dance events take place during the summer.
How do you support the charities?
Each event is catered to provide a local charity support. Some events offer a discounted ticket for bringing a toy for example to one of our 'Jolly Holiday' WeeBoogies others offer raffles or auctions to help raise money.
How can I volunteer? and can I volunteer with my child?
We encourage parents to volunteer. We have several different opportunities available. If you would like to be included on our volunteer list please email us and let us know what city you are wanting to volunteer in and we will have our local event coordinator contact you when an event is being planned in your area. And yes, we enjoy having young volunteers (at least 8 years or older) help us. It's a great way for both you and your child to help the cause.
Do you have group rates available?
Yes, If you have a group of 15 or more please contact your city event coordinator and let her know about your group.
