Statesville, North Carolina
WeeBoogie, a division of Playgroups USA, provides fantastic music events for young children and their parents while supporting local non-profits at the same time! By the time children enter school at age 5 or 6, the most important time for them to develop their music listening vocabularies has passed. Yet, children that attend a WeeBoogie event will experience music and dance as our
Disc Jockies spin great songs while the kids shake their maracas,
thump tambourines and boogie to the music.
“We hope our children’s fundraising events, WeeBoogie, will continue to engage
the community with our mission to inspire parents to encourage music and dance
early in a childs life while also supporting local, non-profits that serve young families.”
says Jodi Van Lom, Co-founder of Playgroups USA.
WeeBoogie is more than just a great way for parents/caregivers to enjoy a fun music experience with their children - it’s a way to give back. Our April event in Statesville coincides with National Child Abuse Prevention Month and it is our desire to raise public awareness through this event.
